On Thursday, 18 July State Border guard official at the external borders and within the country detected 33 offenders

At the external bordes 17 offenders were detected, including:

• Detained 1 citizen of Latvia in search

At „Riga" airport Border Control Point detected 1 citizen of Latvia arriving from Paris, who has in police search. Man was detained and handed over to the State Police officials.

• Entry into Latvia was denied to 3 foreigners

Teherovas and Silenes Border Control Points entry to the country was denied to 1 Russian and 1 Belarussian citizen because they had not have valid visa or residence premit and 1 Russian citizen, because he had not have sufficient livehood for visiting Schengen countries. Persones were returned to the country of departure.

• Breach of stay requirements identified to 5 foreigners:

Teherovas and „Riga" airport Border Control Points 2 Ukraine, 2 Russian and 1 Uzbekistan citizen were detected who had violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states (exceeded the stay period indicated in visa) Administrative proceeding in administrative violationa case were not initiated to 2 Russian citizens, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.

• Exit from the country denied to 2 Latvian non- citizens

At „Riga" airport Border Control Point detected 1 minor citizen of Latvia who had not have notarized consent of parents to leavethe country. Meanwhile in Zilupes Railway Border Control Point detected 1 Latvian non- citizen, who did not valid passport to travel outside the territory Schengen state. Persones are denied to exit from Latvia.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 9 persons- 3 Estonia, 2 Lithuanian, 1 Russian, 1 Ukraina and 1 Egyptian citizen

Within the framwork of vehicels and vessel operations, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses commited by 7 persons - 3 Russian, 1 Belarussian, 1 Ukraina, 1 Lithuanian and 1 Latvian citizen.
