On Wednesday the 17th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 58 offenders at external borders and within the country.

38 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

24 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport and the Silene Border Control Points 3 citizens of Uzbekistan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, as well as 1 citizen of Georgia and 20 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1- of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Azerbaijan and 1 - of Nigeria, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Nigeria was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 13 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Croatia and 1 - of Estonia.
