On Saturday, 14 July, officials of the State Border Guard at the external borders and within the country detected 51 offender.

At the external borders 24 offenders were detected, including:
Detained non-citizen of Latvia in search

At the "Riga" airport Border Control Point was detected one non-citizen of Latvia traveling from Prague, who was in police search. The man , born in 1987, was detained and handed over to the State Police officials.

Entry into Latvia was denied to 9 foreigners

Entrance to Latvia via the "Riga" airport, Silenes, Pāternieku and Zilupes Border Control Points was barred to one Russian and 2 Ukrainian citizen as they had not valid visa or residential permits at their disposal, to 5 Ukrainian citizens as they were not able to justify the purpose and conditions of entry and stay and did not have sufficient livelihoods for visiting Schengen countries, and one citizen of Russia because she had already exceeded the length of stay specified in her visa. Persons were returned to the countries of their departure.

Breach of the stay requirements identified to 1 foreigner:

At Terehova Border Crossing Point one citizen of Tajikistan was detected who were violating residence regulations in the territory of Schengen states (exceeded the duration of stay). Person was subjected to administrative liability.

Immigration control measures inside the country, violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 8 persons - 7 Lithuanian and 1 Estonian citizen.

Within the framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials detected offenses committed by 19 persons - 7 Latvian, 4 Russian, 3 Belarussian, 1 Lithuanian, 1 Ukrainian, 2 Estonian and 1 Serbian national.
