On Saturday the 13th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

18 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

2 foreigners with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia entered Latvia, who presented forged Schengen visa, were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability and were returned to the exit countries.

2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 3 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 2 citizens of Russia and 1 of Belarus was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Lithuania, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Estonia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Germany and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
