On Thursday the 11th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 51 offenders at external borders and within the country.

30 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Belarusian Vehicle Registration Certificate, was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

2 citizens of Latvia, who are on the police wanted list, were detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from London and 1 citizen of Latvia leaving the country for London, who are on the Police wanted list, were detected. The men, born in 1997 and 1980, were detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

9 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 9 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 9 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Silene, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia and 3 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Georgia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Uzbekistan.
