On Thursday the 4th of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuanian leaving Latvia by car, who presented forged Lithuanian Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The forged document was seized within the framework of criminal procedure.

1 non-citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

While carrying out profiling of passengers at the Riga Passenger Port 1 non-citizen of Latvia entered Latvia from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1989, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

4 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, as well as 3 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of China, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Poland and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Belarus, 3 - of Latvia, 2 - of Ukraine and 1 - of Poland.
