On Wednesday the 3rd of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 38 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

7 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva and the Terehova Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Armenia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Serbia and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia and 1 - of Serbia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. While at the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Ukarine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 15 persons - 6 citizens of Ukraine, 5 - of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.
