On Tuesday the 2nd of July, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 48 offenders at external borders and within the country.

20 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving Riga for London, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1985 was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

6 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. At the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as she has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 2 - of Kazakhstan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 1 citizen of Uzbekistan was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 3 citizens of Ukraine, 1 - of India, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 22 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 5 - of Latvia, 5 - of Belarus, 3 - of Lithuania and 3 - of Estonia.
