On Wednesday, the 31th January 2018 State Border Guard officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within country.

At Riga International Airport border control point has been detected 1 citizen of Latvia, entered Latvia from London, who is wanted by police. Woman born in 1987 has been apprehended and handed over to officials of the State Police.At border control points "Silene" entry into the territory of Latvia has been refused for 1 citizen of Belarus, as foreigner had no valid visa or residence permit and 1 citizen of Belarus, as foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. Persons have been returned to the country of exit.At Riga International Airport border control point have been detected 2 citizens of Latvia without valid travel document. Departure from country has been refused for the mentioned persons.
Performing immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were committed by 11 persons - 4 citizens of Estonia, 4 - of Russia and 3 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Ukrain, 1 - of Georgia and 1 - of Estonia.
