On Wednesday the 27th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 42 offenders at external borders and within the country.
2 trespassers were detected at external borders, including entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner. At the "Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The person was returned to the exit countries.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 36 persons – 2 citizens of Estonia, 1 – of Russia, 2 – of Kosova, 8 – of Romania, 2 – of Uzbekistan, 1 – of Ukrain, 1 – of Kazahstan, 6 – of Latvia, 1 – of Poland, 1 – of Belarus, 9 – of Lithuania and 2 – of Bulgaria.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 4 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 – of Latvia and 1 – of Russia.
