On Tuesday the 26th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 62 offenders at external borders and within the country.
6 trespassers were detected at external borders, including entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner. At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner violated Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 360 "Epidemiological precautions to control the spread of Covid - 19 infection. The person was returned to the exit country.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 51 persons – 11 citizens of Bulgaria, 4 -of Slovakia, 1 – of Iraq, 4 – of Finland, 1 -of Azerbaijan, 2 – of Serbia, 1 – of Russia, 6 – of Lithuania, 4 – of Ukrain, 9 – of Latvia, 1 – of Estonia, 1 – of Georgia, 2 – of Poland, 2 – of Kosova, and 2 – of Romania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 5 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – of Latvia, 1 – of Lithuania and 1 – of Macedonia.
