On Sunday the 17th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.
2 trespassers were detected at external borders, including entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner. At Terehova Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Belarus, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 29 persons – 7 citizens of Ukrain, 5 – of Estonia, 4 – of Lithuania, 3 – of France, 3 – of Romania, 2 – of Russia, 2 – of Latvia, 1 – of Belarus, 1 – of Belgium and 1 – of Germany.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 5 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Bulgaria and 1 – of Latvia.
