On Saturday the 16th of January, 2021 the State Border Guard's officials detected 36 offenders at external borders and within the country.
1 trespasser was detected at external borders, including entry into Latvia was denied to 1 foreigner. At Silene Border Control Point entry to Latvia was denied to 1 citizen of Belarus, as the foreigner did not possess valid visa or residential permit. Person was returned to the country of departure.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 30 persons – 5 citizens of Lithuania, 6 – of Latvia, 4 – of Ukrain, 3– of Poland, 3 – of Finland, 2 – of Russia, 2 – of Rumania, 2 – of Estonia, 1 – of Croatia, 1 – of Spain and 1 – of Cameroon.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 5 persons were subjected to administrative liability or was refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard – 2 citizens of Russia, 1 – of Lithuania, 1 – of Bulgaria and 1 – of Latvia.
