On Saturday the 15th of February, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 44 offenders at external borders and within the country.

27 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

4 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Vientuļi Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, leaving Latvia by car, with forged Czech Republic Driving Licence was detected. The criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. Within the criminal procedure the forged document was seized. At the Grebņeva and the Silene Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, and 1 citizen of Lithuania with forged Lithuanian Vehicle Insurance Policies, were detected. The forged documents were seized. The persons were subject to administrative liability. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kirgizstan, leaving the country, in whose passport was forged Lithuanian and Polish border stamps was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

While carrying out the check on the passengers of a ferry at the Riga Passenger Port 1 citizen of Latvia entered from Sweden, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1999, was detained and handed over to the State Police Officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of USA (woman) was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. While at the Silene Border Control Point 2 citizens of Russia were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kazakhstan and 2 - of China, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of the second parent's notarially certified agreement for her independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 5 citizens of Estonia and 2 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 10 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
