While carrying out profiling of the passengers at the Airport "Riga" Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, who is on the police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1982, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country, but at the Paternieki Border Control Point 3 citizens of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia as the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the countries of exit.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 2 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Estonia, 1 - of Sweden and 1 - of Lithuania.
