On Wednesday the 7th of February, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 32 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Moldova, entered Latvia by car and presented a forged Moldova driving license, was detected. The criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. The man, born in 1980, was detained and placed in the State Police Temporary Place of Detention. At the Port of Ventspils 1 citizen of India was refused entry into Latvia, as the woman was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Regarding the Indian citizen, a letter of guarantee from the ship's captain has been taken that the woman will not landed during the ship's stop at the Port of Ventspils.At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kirgizstan and 1 citizen of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Lithuania, who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 13 persons - 4 citizens of Lithuania, 4 - of Russia, 3 - of Estonia, 1 - of Great Britain and 1 - of Ghana.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 9 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Estonia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
