On Thursday the 6th of February, 2020 the State Border Guard's officials detected 24 offenders at external borders and within the country.
12 trespassers were detected at external borders, including: 2 detected persons with forged documents. At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Kazakhstan, leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, with forged German Vehicle Insurance Policies, was detected. The forged documents were seized. The person was subject to administrative liability. At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine leaving Latvia, who presented an Identity Card of another Lithuanian citizen, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for the concealment of one's identity. The person was placed in the State Police short-term detention facilities.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 2 citizens of Moldova, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Moldova.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, of Russia, 1 - of Poland, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
