On Tuesday the 6th of February, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 30 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At Pāternieki border control point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the countries of exit.At Terehova, Silene and Riga International Airport border control point have been detected 1 citizen of Tajikistan, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Kirgistan and 1 - of Ukrain, who were violating the conditions of residence (residence after expiry of residence permit indicated in visa, absence of valid visa or residence permit) in Schengen countries. Persons were subjected to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 9 persons - 5 citizens of Lithuania, 2 - of Russia, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Kazahstan and 1 - of Estonia.
