On Monday the 5th of February, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 16 offenders at external borders and within the country.
4 trespassers were detected at external borders, including at "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. The person was returned to the countries of exit.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 persons - 3 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Ukrain, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
