On Wednesday the 25th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 27 offenders at external borders and within the country.

16 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of India was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The person was returned to the exit country.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigner

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's notarially certified agreement for children independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Kazakhstan and 1 - of Azerbaijan.
