On Tuesday the 17th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 34 offenders at external borders and within the country.

14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Albania with forged Croatian passport was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents. The person was placed in a temporary place of detention of the State Police.

1 foreigner was refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 6 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Georgia, 1 - of Tajikistan, 2 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 17 persons were subjected to administrative liability or were refused to cross the border by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 7 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Russia, 3 - of Latvia, 3 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Moldova.
