On Saturday the 7th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 37 offenders at external borders and within the country.

19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Tajikistan were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and the foreigner was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners

At the Grebņeve and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia, 1 - of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

3 citizens of Latvia were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of the second parent's agreement for his travelling outside Latvia, 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of at least one parent's agreement for a children independent travelling outside Latvia, as well as 1 citizen of Latvia, whose passport was not valid for travelling, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Estonia and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 16 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 6 citizens of Russia, 4 - of Latvia, 2 - of German, 2 - of Belarus, 1 - of Moldova and 1 - of Tajikistan.
