On Friday the 6th of December, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.

21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

5 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport and the Pāternieki Border Control Points 4 citizens of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and the foreigners were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has already resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 5 foreigners

At the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Kirgizstan, 2 - of Georgia and 1 - of Tajikistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of India.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Latvia and 1 - of Moldova.
