On Monday the 26th of August, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 41 offenders at external borders and within the country.

27 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

8 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Tajikistan were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit; as well as 1 - citizen of Israel, 4 - of Russian and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into the country, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 11 foreigners

At the Silene, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 4 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Moldova and 3 - of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 1 citizen of Belarus, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Moldova and 3 - of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who was not in possession of valid travel document, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 3 persons - 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 11 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Serbia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of the Belarus.
