On Friday the 9th of August, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

19 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

1 foreigner with forged documents was detected

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Albania, who presented forged Greek Identification Card, was detected. Criminal procedure was initiated for the use of forged documents.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Terehova, the Silene and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 2 citizens of Russia and 1 - of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 9 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Ukraine and 2 - of Uzbekistan, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, exceeded the period of stay of the visa-free regime), were detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by 3 citizens of Russia was not commenced, the other persons were subject to administrative liability.

1 non-citizen of Latvia was refused exit from the country

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia (female) with not valid for travelling passport, was detected. The person was refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Ukraine and 1 - of Russia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Russia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Israel and 1 - of Latvia.
