On Thursday, 1 August State Border Guard officials at the external border within the country detected 48 offenders

At the external border 32 offenders were detected, including

Detected two foreigners with forged documents

At "Riga" airport and Zilupes Border Control Points detected one from Latvia outgoing and one in Latvia incoming Russian citizen, which was showing forged Schengen visas. In the case of one Russian citizen, criminal proceedings have been initiated for using a false documents. Meanwhile, second Russian citizen is called to administrative liability.

Entry in Latvia denied to 8 foreigners

At Pāternieku and "Riga" airport Border Control Points entry in to the country was denied to Belarusian citizen, because he had not have valid visa or residence permit. As well as for 7 Ukraine citizens, because foreigners hat not able justify the purpose of staying and had not have sufficient live hood for visiting Schengen countries. Persons were returned to the country of departure.

Breach of staying requirement identified to 11 foreigners

At Teherovas, Zilupes, Silenes and "Riga" airport Border Control Points detected 7 Russian, one Indian and one Azerbaijan citizen, which was violated residence regulations in the territory of Schengen state (didn't have valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the stay period indicated in visa). Administrative proceeding in administrative violation case were not initiated to two Russian and one Indian citizen, other persons were subjected to administrative liability.

Exit from the country denied to two Latvian citizens

At "Riga" airport Border Control Point detected two Latvian citizens, which had not have valid travel documents. Persons are denied to exit from Latvia.

Immigration control measure inside the country Violations of entry or stay regulations were detected to 3 persons - 2 Russian and one Estonian citizen.

With framework of vehicles and vessels operation, the State Border Guard officials for violations was called to administrative liability 13 persons - 5 Belarusian, 3 Russian, one German, one Latvian, one South Korea, one Lithuanian and Kirghizstan citizen.
