On Friday, the 26th of April 2019 State Border Guard's officials detected 41 offender at external borders and within country.

20 trespassers were detected at the external borders, inter alia:

Citizen of the Republic of Latvia in wanted list has been detained.

At the Riga International Passenger Port detected from Sweden with ship arriving citizen of the Republic of Latvia at the moment in wanted list. Man was detained and handed over to State Police officials.

Entry into the Republic of Latvia has been refused for five persons.

At the border control point "Terehova" entry into territory of the Republic of Latvia has been refused for 1 citizen of Moldova as foreigner was not in possession of valid travel document. At the border crossing points "Silene", "Pāternieki" and in the Riga International Airport entry refused for 1 citizen of Russia and 2 citizens of Belarus as foreigners were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. Also entry refused for 1 citizen of Israel as he exceeded period of stay. All persons returned to the country of departure.

Two persons detected violating residence conditions.

At the border control point "Silene" and in the Riga International Airport detected 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 citizens of Ukraine who violated condition of the residence in Schengen area (exceeded in visa allowed period of stay). Persons had been subjected to administrative liability.

Departure of the country refused for two citizens of Latvia.

At the border control point "Terehova" detected one non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia with invalid passport for traveling outside Schengen area and at the border control point in the Riga International Airport detected 1 citizen of Latvia with travel documents marked as stolen or lost. Departure of the Republic of Latvia for both persons has been denied.

Performing immigration control activities within the country violation of entry or residence conditions into the Republic of Latvia have been detected for 4 citizens of Estonia and 2 citizens of Georgia.

Violating terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and water transport the State Border Guard of Latvia detected 15 persons - 5 citizens of Russia, 5 citizens of Belarus, 2 citizens of Lithuania, 1 citizen of Moldova, 1 citizen of Estonia and 1 citizen of Latvia.
