10 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 1 citizen of Ukraine with forged documents was detected
At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine entering Latvia by car, who during border control presented forged Ukrainian driving licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents. The man was placed in a State Police short-term place of detention.
• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners
At the Grebņeva and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The both women were subject to administrative liability.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Lithuania and 1 - of Russia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 6 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Belarus, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of German and 1 - of Mongolia.
