At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia, entered from London and 1 citizen of Latvia, exited to London, who are on the police wanted list, were detected. The man, born in 1984 and 1985 were detained and handed over to State Police officers. At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, while at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has resided on the territory of Schengen member states for 90 days within the previous 180-day period, and 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit country.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 7 persons - 2 citizens of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Tajikistan, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Estonia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 8 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
