On Thursday the 19th of April, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 54 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Paternieki Border Control Point Point 1 citizen of Ukrain was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, while at the Terehova and Paternieki Border Control Point Point 1 citizen of Russia and 5 citizens of Ukrain were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the Schengen zone. The persons were returned to the exit country.At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 minor citizen of Latvia, who was not in possession of notarially certified agreement of the parents for his independent travelling outside Latvia, was detected. The person was refused exit from Latvia.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 29 persons - 23 citizens of Ukrain, 3 - of Estonia, 1 - of Russia, 1 - of Nicaragua and 1 - of Latvia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 2 citizens of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Kyrgyzstan, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Belarus and 1- of Ukrain.
