On Friday the 12th of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 29 offenders at external borders and within the country.
11 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:
• 2 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia
At the Zilupe and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Georgia were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners have a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.
• Violations of resident conditions were detected to 3 foreigners
At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa, were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), were detected. The citizen of Belarus was subject to administrative liability, record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the 2 other persons was not commenced.
While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 4 citizens of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 14 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Uzbekistan, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Moldova, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Kirgizstan and 1 - of Kazakhstan.
