On Wednesday the 10th of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 54 offenders at external borders and within the country.

23 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Uzbekistan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer and 1 citizen of Ukraine entering Latvia by car, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policies, were detected. The forged documents were seized, the parsons were subject to administrative liability. While at the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Belarus leaving Latvia by car, who presented Belarusian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, was detected. The criminal proceedings were initiated for use of forged documents, the woman was placed into State Police short-term detention facilities.

1 person, who is on the police wanted list, was detained

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Latvia leaving Riga for Abu Dhabi, who is on the Police wanted list, was detected. The man, born in 1991, was detained and handed over to the State Police officers.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 2 citizens of Georgia and 1 - of Ukraine were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 2 foreigners

At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Tajikistan and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

2 persons were refused exit from the country

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 non-citizen of Latvia and 1 citizen of Latvia (female), who were not in possession of valid travel document, were detected. The persons were refused exit from the country.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 14 persons - 10 citizens of Ukraine, 2 - of Lithuania and 2 - of Uzbekistan.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 17 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Latvia, 3 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Estonia, 2 - of Belarus, 2 - of Russia, 2 - of Kazakhstan, 1 - of Lithuania, 1 - of Irish and 1 - of Georgia.
