On Monday the 9th of April, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 35 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukrain, 1 - of Moldova and 1 -of Belarus were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country. Persons were returned to the countries of exit.At the Grebneva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (absence of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by citizen of Russia was not commenced.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 5 persons - 3 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Kazahstan and 1 -of Estonia.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 5 citizens of Belarus, 4 - of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 -of Latvia and 1 - of Ukrain.
