On Monday the 8th of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 31 offenders at external borders and within the country.

14 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Terehova and the Grebņeva Border Control Points 1 citizen of Georgia and 1 - of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer and 1 citizen of Uzbekistan entered Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policies, were detected. The forged documents were seized, the parsons were subject to administrative liability.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Azerbaijan was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country and he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Georgia was refused entry into the country, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 1 foreigner

At the "Riga" Airport Border Control Point 1 citizen of India, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. Record-keeping regarding administrative violations committed by the citizen of India was not commenced.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Lithuania.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 15 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Russia, 3 - of Lithuania, 2 - of Ukraine, 2 - of Latvia, 1 - of Romania, 1 - of German, 1 - of Uzbekistan and 1 - of Belarus.
