On Thursday the 4th of April, 2019 the State Border Guard's officials detected 39 offenders at external borders and within the country.

21 trespassers were detected at external borders, including:

3 persons with forged documents were detected

At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 2 citizens of Kazakhstan leaving Latvia by truck with trailer, who presented forged Bulgarian International Vehicle Insurance Policy, were detected. The forged documents were seized, the parsons were subject to administrative liability. While carrying out immigration control within the country, in Saldus Regional Community 1 citizen of Latvia, who presented forged Lithuanian Driving Licence, was detected. Criminal proceedings were initiated and within the framework of the criminal proceedings the forged document was seized.

3 foreigners were refused entry into Latvia

At the Silene Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit. While at the Terehova Border Control Point 1 citizen of Ukraine was refused entry into the country, as he was not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states; as well as 1 citizen of Moldova was refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigner has a ban to enter into and stay in the territory of the Schengen Area. The persons were returned to the exit countries.

Violations of resident conditions were detected to 4 foreigners

At the Terehova, the Pāternieki and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 1 citizen of Kirgizstan, 1 - of Belarus, 1 - of Russia and 1 - of Ukraine, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (were not in possession of valid visa or residence permit, exceeded the period of stay laid down in a visa), were detected. The persons were subject to administrative liability.

While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 6 persons - 2 citizens of Russia, 1 - of Uzbekistan, 1 - of Latvia, 1 - of Lithuania and 1 - of Estonia.

For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 12 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 4 citizens of Belarus, 3 - of Ukraine, 3 - of Latvia, 1 - of China and 1 - of Russi
