On Sunday the 1st of April, 2018 the State Border Guard's officials detected 27 offenders at external borders and within the country.

At the Pāternieki Border Control Point 5 citizens of Moldova were refused entry into Latvia, as the foreigners could not justify the purpose and conditions of entry into and stay in the country, as well as they were not in possession of sufficient means of subsistence to visit the Schengen states. The persons were returned to the country of exit.At the Terehova and the "Riga" Airport Border Control Points 3 Latvian nations, who were not in possession of valid travel documents, were detected. The persons were refused exit from Latvia.At the Grebņeva Border Control Point 1 citizen of Russia, who violated the conditions of residence in the territory of the Schengen states (was not in possession of valid visa or residence permit), was detected. The person was subject to administrative liability.While carrying out immigration control measures within the country violations of entry or residence conditions were detected to 2 persons - 1 citizen of Russia and 1 - of Lithuania.
For violation of terms and conditions in the field of operation of vehicles and vessels 7 persons were subjected to administrative liability by officials of the State Boarder Guard of Latvia - 3 citizens of Russia, 2 - of Ukraine, 1 - of Latvia and 1 - of Lithuania.
