On Tuesday, June 9 upon an invitation of the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board the Chief of the State Border Guard, General Guntis Pujāts, participated in a video conference vetween the Chiefs of the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian Border Guard Authorities.

The Lithuanian delegation was represented by General Rustamas Liubajevas, Commander of the Border Guard Service at the Ministry of the Interior, and the Estonian delegation - Elmar Vaher, Police Inspector General of the Police and Border Guard Board.

Within the framework of the videoconference, information and views were exchanged on the situation at the Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian borders in connection with the spread of Covid-19, changes in the Estonian Police and Border Guard Board structure and implementation of the Action Plan 2020 of the Border Guard Sub-Committee of the Baltic Council of Ministers.
