The State Border Guard informs that from June 16, the procedure for entry into Latvia has been significantly facilitated for those persons who can present a Covid-19 certificate confirming the completion of vaccination against Covid-19 or recovered from disease.
A detailed explanation of the rules of entry and stay in Latvia within the framework of the Covid-19 restrictive measures can be found in the traffic light type table developed by the State Border Guard.
The State Border Guard draws attention to the fact that the information summarized in this table is applicable only to entry into Latvia. This means that any person has right to exit the country, following the general border crossing procedures and national guidelines for traveling to high-risk countries.
Exceptionally, the State Border Guard may grant an individual permit to cross the external border only to those foreigners who enter into the Republic of Latvia in accordance with the restrictions summarized in the table.
